Mary L. Washington (b. May 20, 1962) is a Democratic member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 43. She was first elected to the chamber in 2010. Washington is a Democratic candidate for District 43 of the Maryland State Senate. The primary election is being held on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

Washington earned her B.A. in Human Services from Antioch University in 1989 and her Ph.D. in Sociology from The John Hopkins University in 1997. Her professional experience includes working as the Associate Director of Great Parks, Clean Streams and Green Communities, Parks and People Foundation and Assistant Professor at Lehigh University from.
