Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- When I'm elected, my three top priorities will be our public education, our infrastructure, and ethics in Lansing. I intend to change the way we fund our K-12 public education system, provide an investment to our roads and bridges, and increase the transparency in Lansing by expanding FOIA. Funding for our schools will come from keeping the money in the school aid fund for what it was originally intended for, school aid. Funding for our roads will come from an increase in the corporate tax rate, and restructuring our corporate property tax rates.
