| “ | I am a liberal in the tradition of FDR and Ted Kennedy. That is, a traditional Democrat, not of the DLC type.
I believe in positive government that serves the citizens, not commercial mega corporations, particularly Citizens who are structurally unemployed, undereducated, and poor through the fault of the way the system is organized. Necessities for living should be taken out of being subject to the profit motive with a guaranteed minimum income. GOAL: Most important is reversing the destruction visited on NC by the irresponsible GOP Legislature and Governor. Hope to begin a dialogue on public policy used to enhance overall quality of life, taking an overview of the forest not just the trees, finding a measure for evaluation other than GDP. |
