Angel L. Cruz is a Democratic member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, representing District 180. He was first elected to the chamber in 2000.

Cruz served as Assistant Secretary for the Philadelphia City Committee Democratic Party and as Committeeman-at-Large/Delegate at the Democratic National Committee. He has served as Ward Leader for the City of Philadelphia's 7th Ward for 12 years.

Cruz received his diploma from North East Catholic High School. His professional experience includes working as a Union Organizer and as an aide for Philadelphia City Councilman Rick Mariano.
