    Reason for Seeking Public Office:

I am seeking the office of a State Senator as a "Statesman" because I knew in this 2016 Election Cycle, I could no longer sit idly by in the community of DeKalb and Gwinnett without lifting the tagline of Gwinnett County to DeKalb which says "Success Lives Here"! I knew this Senate District could be great in Economic Development, Community Development and Citizen Engagement.

This is when in November 2015, I took a leap of faith and filed my Declaration of Intent to run for Public Office. The journey has been amazing, challenging and insightful!

Protecting life is essential to our Nation.
