Recall attempt

Jan. 1, 1900

Raffensperger was the target of a recall attempt in 2014. Petitions of intent to recall were filed but no other information about the recall was available, so it was assumed abandoned. He was targeted for "committ[ing] malfeasance when they caused the city to authorize the investigation at taxpayers expense [and] committ[ing] malfeasance and violat[ing] the open meetings act by voting to issue a press release challenging Mayor's and CM Stewart's statements criticizing the City Manager action on Oct. 7."
