Political Experience

  • Candidate, United States Senate, 2018
Policy Positions

Missouri Congressional Election 2018 Political Courage Test

Abortion

1. Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
- Pro-life

2. Other or expanded principles
- As a Catholic, the idea of ending a helpless life doesn't appease me. We often see where the embryo matures, various studies state that while in the womb the unborn often hears events outside, voices, laughter, singing, and other sounds. I understand many desire to have unprotected sex, conceive and then decide not to go through the miracle of the birth, though adoption is also an option.

Budget

1. In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
- Yes

2. In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
- No

3. Other or expanded principles
- We are challenged by many an adversary, some don't understand that some people literally HATE the USofA. And they will attempt at just about anything to see that it is crippled or destroyed. From the various attempts to assassinate US Presidents: Truman, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, & Reagan, we can see how determined they are to offset the US. Reducing defense spending I feel is not an option until these specific continued threats are thwarted.

Campaign Finance

1. Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
- Yes

2. Other or expanded principles
- Some lobbyist seek to maintain a decisive role in government functions, sometimes in hopes that the contribution would thereby influence any pending decisions and legislations. Each item MUST be reviewed carefully, and follow the specific frameworks of the Party and the desires of the PEOPLE.

Economy

1. Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
- Yes

2. Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
- Yes

3. Other or expanded principles
- Businesses are capable of expanding and or remaining strong with added incentives, allowing for employment expansions as well as distribution exposures. Various costs sometimes undermine the specifics of running a business. With lower expenses, product, manufacturing, & job creation become easier to obtain.

Education

1. Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
- Yes

2. Other or expanded principles
- We need to have a universal understanding in education. From the basic writing, reading, math to other aspects of understanding. The idea that most people do not understand where various countries in the world are, appears to leave people out of a fuller understanding of the world around them. Athletes whom can not read or writ or add entering into the adult workforce also leads to concerns on the fullest capabilities we as Americans should aspire towards.

Energy & Environment

1. Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?
- Yes

2. Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
- Yes

3. Other or expanded principles
- Sciences reveal that the are various holes in the atmosphere. If it was known that one was readily placed above your home, city, community, and or State allowing massive changes in weather conditions, and causing even greater harm in the future, you may be more concerned with addressing these issues as well. Also, understanding that the vast degree of damages across the Nation we have encountered over the past decades, also influences costs, taxes, and expenses.

Guns

1. Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
- No

2. Other or expanded principles
- I would pursue restrictions on classes of issues where gun control may be needed, although with the growing threats to America as a whole, the incidences where 'if we only had another gun, or better gun, or even more ammunition' to assist in confrontations (sometimes demonstrated in Missouri over the past decades, see website) and allowing the helpless American civilians to seek additional safety. We are confronted with persons with semi automatic and sometimes projectile weapons, yet, we are limited. Mental illness would need restrictions.

Health Care

1. Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
- Yes

2. Other or expanded principles
- Healthcare service is less, and once utilized, premiums go up and up. I hope to further explore the return of the standard free clinic, where any emergency can be readily treated 'professionally', and where enabled to either covered by insurance or by the government. Prescriptions have gotten way out of hand, and the problems down the road now also becoming a growing threat, whether over prescribed or side effects.

Immigration

1. Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
- Yes

2. Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
- Yes

3. Other or expanded principles
- We need to add additional security measures along our borders, as many adversaries find it easier to just cross over and then implement a form of attack on out country. While understanding we ARE a country of Immigrants, the idea that those hoping to become US Citizens merely hide and elude, doesn't appease me. If they hope to become US Citizens then they should go through the proper channels.

Marijuana

1. Do you support the legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes?
- No

2. Other or expanded principles
- While understanding that various studies have formulated that there could be or are advantages for the terminally ill, the reports that it has grown in strengths from what may be construed as the 1960's versions to a version 300% as potent, only means that other problems may arise. From driving, working machinery, daredevil stunts, babysitting, cooking, or similar, the idea that a 'much stronger' version conflicted with the counterfeit versions also out there now, only leads to the sense of more problems.

National Security

1. Should the United States use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a nuclear weapon?
- No

2. Do you support increased American intervention in Middle Eastern conflicts beyond air support?
- No

3. Other or expanded principles
- To provoke may invite disaster, though a strong will and determination at prevention measures remains strong. The idea that many of the current planned or 'already developed' are around various pressure points where earthquakes happen or now have begun awakening also should remain a key point at deterrence. Most of the Middle East may be construed as warlords competing with each other or domestic feuds. The idea of picking one side may also lead to future problems.

Administrative Priorities

Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- Reviewing the scope of the attacks mention earlier on the US Presidents, their source(s), the prior plans and attacks otherwise, and future attacks. Not only on our foundation but on our people themselves, including the classifications US President Johnson's 36/39 Conflict, was it a world war? Environmental issues further confound the sense of stability for the USofA. Various programs and including educational programs to better enable and redirect the crumbling of America.
