Craig received her high school diploma from Western Branch High School in 1985. She has served as the chief of staff for Virginia State Senator John Cosgrove since 2001. Craig is also the CEO of Christie's Catering. Craig and her husband, Merrill, have three children who attended district schools and five grandchildren who were attending district schools at the time of her tenure.
