Cramer: Best Jobs Numbers I've Seen in My Life, We Can Win China Fight
December 6, 2019CNBC's Jim Cramer gives his first take on the release of last month's jobs report ahead of the day's market action.
JIM CRAMER, CNBC: Growth with not very much inflation, I wish people were making a little more money. Obviously we want people to make more money. There's a fellow by the name of Michael Cembalest, he is the Chairman of Market and Investment Strategy for J.P. Morgan, he came up with a list of what the cable news -- MSNBC, CNN -- of what they cover. Number 16 (16!) is positive economic news. Everything else is negative. So you know what's going on here, people don't want to say good things!
And this is the best November I've ever seen in my life!
JOE KERNAN, CNBC: Can it last forever? How can it last forever?
CRAMER: It has to go up, because when we win the trade war, and you now know we're going to win now because we have better numbers, they're going to have to put jobs here. That's what they're going to have to do. And we're not even talking about that yet.
In the end, the Chinese are going to have to put jobs here. Because this thing is -- the president can walk away from the table with this number.
JOE KERNAN: We won't see that written anywhere?
CRAMER: Sometimes the truth sets people free! You and I both know, I'm 64, I'm not going to say it, you can't contradict that these are the best numbers of our lives. I don't see inflation, I don't see a recession. 50 years ago that number was a curse, now it's a blessing.
It doesn't matter whether you hate [Trump] or love him, these are real numbers.
