Dana Jones (Democratic Party) is a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing District 30A. She assumed office on May 1, 2020. Her current term ends on January 11, 2023.
Jones (Democratic Party) is running for re-election to the Maryland House of Delegates to represent District 30A. She declared candidacy for the Democratic primary scheduled on June 28, 2022.
Jones was appointed to the Maryland House of Delegates by Gov. Larry Hogan on April 23, 2020, following the resignation of Alice Cain. She was sworn into office on May 1, 2020.
Jones is from Allegany County, Maryland, and spent 22 years working on Democratic political campaigns prior to joining the state legislature. In addition to her campaign work, Jones' professional experience includes working as a legislative aide to U.S. Senator Ben Cardin and as the research director of Emily's List. Jones also served as the Communications Vice President of the Junior League of Annapolis, a women's voluntarism nonprofit, at the time of her appointment. She holds a bachelor's degree in sociology from Towson University.
The primary will occur on June 28, 2022. The general election will occur on November 8, 2022. General election candidates will be added here following the primary.
