Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- Access to quality public education from early childhood through college including affordable education for today's high technology jobs, high speed broad band internet access for all our communities, limiting the pushback by the State of expenses to the towns and schools, improving transportation availability especially for the elderly, a living minimum wage, affordable housing, affordable healthcare, promoting conservation and clean efficient energy technologies, protecting the rights and lives of women and children. Necessary funding might be provided by increased taxes on the wealthy but the State first needs to have a meaningful conversation about funding alternatives.
