Abortion

1. Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
- Pro-choice

2. Other or expanded principles
- No Answer

Budget

1. In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
- Yes

2. In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
- Yes

3. Other or expanded principles
- No Answer

Campaign Finance

1. Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
- Yes

2. Other or expanded principles
- No Answer

Economy

1. Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
- Yes

2. Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
- No

3. Other or expanded principles
- Lowering taxes on small businesses would promote more economic growth and I support doing that.

Education

1. Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
- Yes

2. Other or expanded principles
- Having some uniform standards helps students compete across the country as they move schools, attend out of state colleges, and get jobs in other states. States understand their local needs and should also have the freedom to incorporate standards to address those needs.

Energy & Environment

1. Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?
- Yes

2. Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
- Yes

3. Other or expanded principles
- No Answer

Guns

1. Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
- Yes

2. Other or expanded principles
- No Answer

Health Care

1. Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
- No

2. Other or expanded principles
- Healthcare legislation should focus on making sure that more people have healthcare, with an ultimate goal of all people having healthcare. Repealing the ACA before ensuring people have other coverage options is irresponsible.

Immigration

1. Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
- No

2. Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
- No

3. Other or expanded principles
- We have water, mountains, and Native American land along the border which make it difficult if not impossible to build a physical wall. Technology would be more effective and efficient, as well as less costly, for monitoring and preventing undocumented entry.Requiring immigrants to return to their country of origin is an economic burden that affects the directly affects the poor and middle class only. It's an arbitrary rule with no administrative or legal purpose other than punishment and economic class exclusion.

Marijuana

1. Do you support the legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes?
- Yes

2. Other or expanded principles
- No Answer

National Security

1. Should the United States use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a nuclear weapon?
- No

2. Do you support increased American intervention in Middle Eastern conflicts beyond air support?
- No

3. Other or expanded principles
- Unilateral U.S. military force should only be used as a last resort to defend the nation. The current budget could be cut drastically if we used our department of defense for what it was intended?defending us, instead of waging interventionist wars. We need to support diplomacy and working with allies for collective solutions.

Administrative Priorities

Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- My #1 priority is getting money out of politics and dismantling Citizen's United. Corporations should have the same donation restrictions as humans, including both limits and disclosure. Separation of Religion and State. Every single attack on women's sexual freedom and every single attack on the LGBTQ community is a result of people trying to put their religious interpretations into law. If a wall needs to be built, that's the wall. No one has religious liberty unless everyone has religious liberty - including those who don't want religion.
