Diane Sands (b. March 23, 1947) is a Democratic member of the Montana State Senate, representing District 49. Sands was first elected to the chamber in 2014. Sands is running for re-election in the primary on June 5, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.
Sands served in the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 95 from 2007 to 2013. She previously served from 1997 through 1998.
Sands earned her B.A. from the University of Montana. Her professional experience includes working as a political consultant.
