But we are an orderly society and a nation of laws, not a nation of "men/women". We also learned in elementary school, never cut in line. Those who want to become United States citizens need to apply, live the one million plus who do so every year.

- Here in the State of Washington, we have become over regulated and over taxed which has made us a high cost state compared to many other states in the nation. The middle class is being squeezed. Many of my neighbors who are retirees have moved and many others are contemplating a move. Maybe that is the dynamic of capitalism and choice, but we are losing a large segment of great citizens to other states.

- We need to promote the use of all or partially electric battery operated vehicles in our state. I have been a leader in this endeavor. I was just selected, out of 320 National Drive Electric Week City Captains as the 2018 City Captain of the Year by Plug In America. It has been 5 years of personally driving an all electric Nissan Leaf and starting NDEW Steilacoom in 2014. We are now the largest drive electric festival in the Pacific Northwest and the 5th largest in the nation. I oppose Initiative 1631.
