Dickie Drake is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 45. He was first elected in a special election on November 29, 2011. The special election was called to fill the vacancy created when Drake's brother, Owen Drake (R), passed away on June 27, 2011. Drake is running for re-election in the primary on June 5, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

Drake served in the Air Force and Air National Guard for 42 years. Following his retirement, he and his son founded Drake Lawn Maintenance LLC. Drake has served as president of the Leeds Historical Society and president of Leeds Youth Basketball.
