Understanding the First Step

My first act as Governor of the State of Florida will be to fully uphold my oath of office and by doing so strictly conform to the Complete Constitution of the United States and by doing so will eliminate all direct Federal Income tax for all Floridians in both personal and businesses. I understand there is great skepticism that I can actually do this so I offer these evidence of facts derived exclusively from House Document 398 from the 69th Congress printed in 1927. This is the definitive collection of all of our founding documents.

First let’s correct the record on two big lies that have been taught in our schools and have mislead The People for 120 years. Lie number one, that the Constitutional Convention was held in secret and no notes were taken so nobody actually knows what was said. To correct that lie one only needs to look at House Document 398 and see pages 109 – 745 “Debates in the Federal Convention of 1787 as reported by James Maddison”. So for 90 years the 636 pages of James Maddison’s notes from the Constitutional Convention have been in print supplied by Congress but yet we are told otherwise. I can tell you having read them I understand more about why things were said and done with The Constitution and why they don’t want The People to know the truth. This also makes a majority of the Supreme Court decisions flawed.

The second big lie is that The Constitution “Replaced” the Articles of Confederation. The Constitution is actually AN AMENDMENT of The Articles of Confederation, something that completely changes a lot of things.

Sanctuary Cities

This is rather simple. Any elected official that has been trusted by the public to honor their oath of office violates that trust and oath when they openly protect and encourage illegal inhabitants of our state to remain and receive sanctuary from being removed from our state and country.

It is in the Governors power to prosecute such willful violators. Any elected official offering sanctuary and protection for illegal inhabitants will be charged and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law including but not limited to aiding and abetting criminal activity and harboring of fugitives and should an elected official have a resident murdered or harmed that official will also be charged with that crime as if they were the getaway driver and their partner murdered a convenience store clerk while they waited in the car.

Health Care and Health Insurance

Let’s be clear, Health Care and Health Insurance coverage are two different things and need to be addressed separately.

First Health Care. Simple, everyone already has a right to access to health care. People cannot be discriminated against when seeking health care.

Next the responsibility to pay the health care provider a reasonable price for the health care provided. We live in a Republic. In a Republic the People are responsible for their own wellbeing. The individuals are ultimately in control of their own destiny but the government has a responsibility to remove roadblocks and obstacles to reasonably achieve the standard of services they can afford or wish to purchase.

Step one in this process is opening up the market to promote more competition. We currently can’t purchase health insurance from providers in other states, a violation of Article 1 Section 8 of The Constitution known as “The Commerce Clause” that states “to Regulate Commerce with Foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;”.

Under the commerce clause it is the responsibility of the federal government to make sure commerce is flowing between the named entities in the clause. This means that Florida oranges can move freely to Georgia and Georgia peaches can move freely to Florida. The one thing the Federal government should be doing, making insurance purchases available across state lines, is one thing they are not doing. We can fix that. While we are on The Commerce Clause I should mention that it is one of the most abused parts of The Constitution and if you read the notes from James Maddison the purpose of the commerce clause is strictly to keep commerce moving, not to give regulatory authority on business that conduct commerce, even if it crosses state lines. That is why you have the bookends on the commerce clause “to Regulate Commerce with Foreign Nations” and “with the Indian Tribes”. They knew this could be abused, as it has, so they intentionally provided two anchors. Unfortunately the anchor lines are in need of repair. In addition, the commerce clause states “among the several States” not within the several states. The word among could easily be interchanged with the word between in today’s words. It’s just that simple.

In a Capitalist Republic, the more buying power you have the better value you can get with that buying power. It’s the governments’ job to remove as many obstacles as reasonably possible to use this buying power. In simple math terms, it cost an insurance company about the same amount of money to send a single customer a bill as it does to send a bill for a thousand employees of a single customer but the revenue generated is a thousand times more than that of a single customer. With very little effort we can create a system that gives the most buying power, the most choices and the flexibility to have a long term relationship with an insurance provider regardless of life changes with the insured.
