Donnie Chesteen is a Republican member of the Alabama House of Representatives, representing District 87. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010. Chesteen did not file for re-election in 2018.

Chesteen is a Republican candidate for District 29 of the Alabama State Senate. The primary election is being held on June 5, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

Chesteen earned his B.S. and M.S. in physical education from Troy University. His professional experience includes working as a teacher, football coach and athletic director at the high school level and as a medical sales representative for Mead Johnson.
