Francis Becker Jr. (Republican) was a candidate who sought election to the New York State Senate to represent District 9. Becker lost the general election on November 6, 2018, after advancing from the primary on September 13, 2018. Becker also ran in the 2018 election as a Conservative Party and Tax Revolt Party candidate.
