Francis D. Gibson is a Republican member of the Utah House of Representatives, representing District 65. He was first elected to the chamber in 2008. Gibson currently serves as Majority Whip. beginning in 2015.
Gibson received his Conflict Mediation Certificate. He went on to receive his B.S. from Brigham Young University. He then earned his M.S.W. from the University of Houston. He is a Healthcare Administrator.
Gibson served on the Mapleton City Council from 2003 to 2007.

Francis has many hobbies including golf, cooking and playing sports. As a family, the Gibson's enjoy going to sporting events. A good Dodger or Angel's game with a hot dog is a must! There favorite times together are spent camping in Yellowstone, white water rafting in Idaho and trips to the beaches of California and Texas.
