Reason for Seeking Public Office:
Something I wanted to do for a few years now. I ran as an independent in 2010 and did well. I received the most votes of any independent in over 20 years of elections. I am still concerned about many issues and the timing is right. I believe I am not alone in thinking that Lansing needs some new faces. I'm tired of complaining, so I decided to run again. I thank God for living in a country where an average guy can run for an office and help bring some common sense, hard working values to the table in Lansing.
On December 14, 2020, Eisen was removed from his committee assignments in response to an interview he gave on WPHM's morning radio show. Eisen and the host, Paul Miller, discussed that day's Electoral College vote for the 2020 presidential election. Eisen said he was going to participate in an event that would question the results of the election. According to WXYZ Detroit, Miller asked Eisen, "Can you assure me that this is going to be a safe day in Lansing, nobody is going to get hurt?"
