Reason for Seeking Public Office:

People ask me why I am running for the NC House and I have trouble some times giving them specifics. It is probably because I do not have a single rallying cry or cause. Rather it is out of a sense of duty and commitment.

Duty, Honor, Country. The motto of West Point, my alma mater. Deep seated values that have always motivated me to serve. As a Platoon Leader and Commissioned Officer in the United States Army to volunteer positions with Coastal Horizons, the North Carolina Ports Authority and the USO -- I have always answered the call to serve
