- I never have nor do I see a circumstance in which I might encourage someone to get an abortion, but I would not deny them the option. I think we fall short when we only talk about abortion and don't address the issues that bring women to that point in their lives.

- I believe we need to look closely at how we fund state government reviewing all possible sources of revenue. Our present tax structure is regressive, hitting those at the bottom the hardest. We need to do a comprehensive review not just add little taxes like a tobacco tax along the way to address important funding issues.

- My top priority is supporting an openness to the governing process and listening carefully to the concerns of the people in my district.Secondly I will seek to give support to education (Pre K thru post secondary). This may require that we take a comprehensive look at how we raise revenue in the state.
