Hubert Vo is a Democratic member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 149. Vo was first elected to the chamber in 2004. Vo is running for re-election in 2018. The primary election took place on March 6, 2018. The general election is being held on November 6, 2018.

Vo has worked many positions, including assembler and quality assurance specialist, busboy, convenience store clerk, cook, data technician, goldsmith, machinist, steel worker, and waiter.

He is a member of the Alief Super Neighborhood Council, Alief Young Mens Club of America Board, Houston Apartment Association, Houston Association of Builders, Houston Association of Realtors, and Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce.
