Jack Whitver is a Republican member of the Iowa State Senate, representing District 19. He was first elected to the chamber on January 18, 2011. Whitver currently serves as the state Senate majority leader. He was elected state Senate president after the November 2016 elections and served until March 2018. Whitver previously served as Minority Whip.
