Jackie Glass was born in Chicago, Illinois. Glass served in the United States Navy from 2002 to 2013. She earned a bachelor's degree in workforce education training and development from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 2014.
Glass' career experience includes owning a business and working as a podcast co-host and the program and creative director of Your Neighbor's Hood; a radio host with the Christian Broadcast Corporation; a diversity, equity, and inclusion culture consultant; a cryptologist; a sexual assault victim advocate; an instructional system designer; and an eLearning developer. She has been affiliated with the United State of Women, the Young Investors Group, Reading Enriches All Children (REACH), the NAACP Norfolk Branch, the Norfolk Preservation Collective, and the Black Chamber of Commerce.
