Jason Potts is a member of the Nashville Metro Council in Tennessee, representing District 30. He was elected to the council in 2011.

In 2012, Potts was a Democratic candidate for District 53 of the Tennessee House of Representatives.

Potts graduated from Spring Hill High School in 1996, going on to study real estate at the Continual Learning Institute. He is also a licensed general contractor in the State of Tennessee.
