Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- 1) Revision to the tax system to make it more progressive, less volatile and produce reliable revenue for our State.2) Encourage and expand methods of reducing costs in healthcare so that it will be more accessible and more affordable.3) Work toward the reauthorizing of Medicaid expansion. Both the human and financial benefits in Montana are enormous. If I-185 passes the State will be a significant step toward covering the funding of the newer Medicaid.
