Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- 1. Increased state funding for higher education and a new and fairer mechanism for raising and distributing revenue for schools, K-12. Additional revenues are needed to make NH a state where people will choose to raise families and start businesses. Any new taxation must be progressive in nature.2. Mitigating climate change by supporting renewable sources of energy and encouraging conservation and updating of the power grid.3. Repeal the death penalty. This will actually save funds which can be used to support law enforcement and survivors of violent crime.
