John L. Martin (b. June 5, 1941) is a Democratic member of the Maine House of Representatives, representing District 151. He was first elected to the chamber in 2014.

Martin served two previous tenures in the House, representing District 1 from 1964 to 1994 and from 2008 to 2012. Martin also served in the Maine State Senate from 2000 to 2008.

Martin is an assistant professor of political science and government at the University of Maine at Fort Kent.

He is a member of the American Academy of Political Science, New England Political Science Association, President of Ambulance Services, Incorporated, and Treasurer of the Northern Maine General Hospital.
