John McCrostie is a Democratic member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 16A. McCrostie was first elected to the chamber in 2014. McCrostie is running for re-election in the primary on May 15, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

McCrostie earned his B.S. in music education from Oral Roberts University in 1993 and his M.S. in instructional and performance technology from Boise State University in 2006. As of May 2014, he was studying for his J.D. and anticipated graduating in 2016.
