- There is a close relationship between the number of abortions since Roe and the number of illegal immigrants. Both total about 50 million. The net effect is a replacement of population not control of population.

- The largest "hole" in the State budget are the pension funds. The Pension funds were designed to remain solvent (inflows from working employees equal or in excess of outflows to retirees) only if its' assets are invested at 7% to 8%. In today's world the safe investments are only returning 2% to 4% (maybe). So there is a perpetual deficit for the foreseeable future. There must be some adjustments to pension payments. President Kennedy did and now President Trump is lowering Income Taxes to produce greater tax revenue from the additional people and assets employed economy wide.

- The blanket "Top 2" primary has shifted the General Election victories towards a single political party in California. This is not fair. The minor parties, Green, AIP, Libertarian and Peace & Freedom have been completely excluded from the General Elections and will be for the foreseeable future.

- A minor convicted of a capital crime should receive a severe sentence. Federal and State laws already allow the voluntary cooperation of state and local police in the enforcement of US Federal immigration. Federal Law does not force state and local police to enforce immigration law but they may if local supervisory officials allow it.

- The idea of government spending for economic growth is simply another way of saying government is better at allocating money and resources than the private sector. This has been disproved over and over again. Government is very bad at resource allocation because it never suffers from the losses it generates but instead passes them to the taxpayer. This creates the cavalier carelessness that government exhibits with the taxpayer's money. Lowering taxes is the best way for government to encourage economic growth. Increasing the minimum wage only reduces opportunities for new entrants to the job market, but provides opportunity for robots.

Education

- The US Constitution does not grant the Federal Government authority over public education. The wisdom of that is made clear by the graph that shows student test scores declining as Federal money and "standards" are inserted into State education over the last several decades. Charter Schools show consistently higher test scores than regular K-12 California schools. They should receive State funding and/or vouchers. Those who are unlawfully in the US should not receive the same benefits as legal citizens.

Environment & Energy

- Private sector enterprises should be encourage to produce renewable energy through tax incentives but not through bonds or loans from the State. Clean drinking water laws are already on the books, all counties must provide the same State mandated quality. The drinking water requirements have been increased several times. Those who promote higher standards do not complain about the unnecessary use of refined sewer water for washing and drinking. State water restrictions are unnecessary if more water storage is built. California receives about 400% more rainfall over its' 4 to 6 year wet-dry cycle than the water it uses.

- California has a two week waiting period before the owner is allowed to take possession of the new gun. During that time a background check is conducted. Those who are taking medically prescribed psychoactive drugs should not be allowed to purchase a gun. Likewise those with a violent felony conviction. California State gun laws are infringing on the Federal Law (2nd Amendment) authorizing private ownership.

- There are clear studies showing a link between certain vaccinations and autism. Autism is up 3 to 6 time over just a few decades ago. Parents should have the right and authority to prevent their children being vaccinated. Should an unvaccinated child become sick then apply the rule that worked so well a few decades ago. Remove the child from school until the infection passes.

- Sanctuary City laws interfere with Federal Immigration enforcement. The States do not have this power and it obstructs the apprehension of criminal illegal aliens. In many cases the alleged pay gap between men and women closed long ago. Sex shouldn't be a part of employment, performance should.
