Julie Olthoff is a Republican member of the Indiana House of Representatives, representing District 19. Olthoff is running for re-election in the primary on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

Olthoff is a Northwest Indiana native. She attended high school at Lew Wallace High School and earned her B.A. from Indiana University Northwest.

In 1987, she founded VIA Marketing Inc., a marketing communications company. She continues to own and operate the company today.

Olthoff has been active in her local community serving on the Merrillville Plan Commission, the Merrillville Board of Zoning Appeals, the Merrilville Chamber of Commerce, the Crossroads Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce.
