- As a mom of four and the president of our local PTA, I will be a strong advocate for investing in our schools to attract and retain the best teachers and grow robust academic and extracurricular programs. I?ve also spent my entire career dedicated to making sure all Americans have the skills they need to succeed, including drafting and implementing national workforce development policies over 12 years at the U.S. Department of Labor. I want to take that expertise to Richmond to fight for working families by growing economic opportunities and positioning our region to be globally competitive.
