- I support the medical cannabis initiative. Government should not interfere in a person's medical decisions. I will defend everyone's right to make decisions regarding their medical care.Utah has a long list of overbearing liquor laws. Aside from infringing upon personal liberty, they harm tourism and create headaches for business owners. I will work to repeal these laws and create common sense policies.Every year Utahns are asked to face tax increases. We do not need more taxes, we need to better control spending. I will oppose any tax increases and look for any areas where spending can be cut.
