Kevin Mullin is a Democratic member of the California State Assembly, representing District 22. He was first elected to the chamber in 2012. He is the son of former Assembly member Gene Mullin, who served from 2002 to 2008. He currently serves as State Assembly Speaker Pro Tempore and was State Assembly Assistant Speaker Pro Tempore from 2013 to 2014.

Mullin earned his B.A. in Communication from University of San Francisco, his M.P.A. in Public Administration from San Francisco State University and his Executive Leadership Certificate from Harvard.
