Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- Housing Affordability. We must increase the supply of housing of all income levels across the state. The high cost of living in California - and especially in the Bay Area - is the foundation of many of our societal problems. Transportation - we also must decrease traffic congestion, improve the quality of our roads and highways, and increase the public transit options in California and in the Bay Area especially. As Chair of the Assembly Elections & Redistricting Committee, ensuring the security of our voting systems and access to the polls are also a top priority of mine.
