Legislative Priorities

Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- Private sector job growth is my #1 priority. Business tax reduction, a streamlined permitting process and a sustainable, safe, clean and affordable base load of energy are all necessary to accomplish this goal. Without substantial private sector job growth to provide the monetary support needed, the social, economic, health and education issues we face will not be resolved. My #2 priority is education reform including the restoration of local control and property tax reduction. My 3rd priority is limiting government spending and balancing the budget. Continued government deficit spending will bankrupt our state.
