Mark Nye is a Democratic member of the Idaho State Senate, representing District 29. Nye was first elected to the chamber in 2016. Nye is running for re-election in the primary on May 15, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

Nye served in the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 29A from 2014 to 2016.

A Pocatello, Idaho native, Nye graduated from Pocatello High School. He earned his B.S. from Harvard College and his J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law.
