Matt Shaheen is a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 66. Shaheen was first elected to the chamber in 2014. Shaheen is running for re-election in 2018. As of June 2017, Shaheen was a member of the Texas Freedom Caucus, a legislative caucus in the state House.
