Michael J. Skindell (b. August 31, 1962) is a Democratic member of the Ohio State Senate, representing District 23. Skindell was first elected to the chamber in 2010. Skindell is a Democratic candidate for District 13 of the Ohio House of Representatives. The primary election is being held on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

Skindell is unable to run for re-election in 2018 to the Ohio State Senate because of term limits. Skindell served in the Ohio House of Representatives from 2003 to 2011.

Skindell earned his B.A. in business and politics from Walsh College and his J.D. from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. His professional experience includes working as assistant attorney general, as a hearing officer for the Ohio Department of Health, and as the owner of a private legal practice.
