Mick Cornett (b. July 16, 1958) is the mayor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was first elected in 2004.

Before becoming mayor, Cornett served on the Oklahoma City City Council from 2001 to 2004. On May 31, 2017, Cornett declared that he would run for governor of Oklahoma in 2018.

Cornett holds a B.S. in journalism from the University of Oklahoma and an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business. His professional experience includes working as a journalist.

Mick Cornett (Republican) was a candidate for Governor of Oklahoma. Cornett lost the primary runoff on August 28, 2018, after advancing from the primary on June 26, 2018.

Cornett was the mayor of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was first elected in 2004. Cornett did not seek election to a fifth term in 2018.

Cornett served on the Oklahoma City City Council from 2001 to 2004.

After a two-decade career in journalism, Cornett was elected to the Oklahoma City Council in 2001 and Mayor of Oklahoma City in 2004. He was the longest-serving mayor in the United States in 2018 and spent one term as president of the United States Conference of Mayors.
