Nikki Haley Breaks Silence On Impeachment
November 9, 2019During a recent interview with CBS News Sunday Morning's Norah O'Donnell, former United States Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley slammed House Democrats for their bogus impeachment inquiry into President Trump.
"Do you think the president will ultimately be impeached and removed from office?" O'Donnell questioned.
Haley replied, "No, on what? You’re going to impeach a president for asking for a favor that didn’t happen and – and giving money and it wasn’t withheld? I don’t know what you would impeach him on. And look, Norah, impeachment is, like, the death penalty for a public official. When you look at the transcript, there’s nothing in that transcript that warrants the death penalty for the president. And I think that –"
"To be clear, it was not a complete transcript," O'Donnell interrupted. "There are still things that are missing from it. And in it, he does say, “I would like you to do us a favor,” though."
Haley shot back, "The Ukrainians never did the investigation. And the president released the funds. I mean, when you look at those, there’s just nothing impeachable there. And more than that, I think the biggest thing that bothers me is the American people should decide this. Why do we have a bunch of people in Congress making this decision?"

The Democrat's impeachment well is beginning to run dry. Star witness to far-left Rep. Adam Schiff's ongoing impeachment inquiry, U.S. diplomat William Taylor, recently admitted behind a closed-door testimony that his only source for his claims that he had made were from the New York Times.
During his testimony, Taylor “identified Rudolph W. Giuliani, President Trump’s personal lawyer, as the instigator behind the drive to get Ukraine’s president to announce investigations into Mr. Trump’s political rivals, telling impeachment investigators last month that Mr. Giuliani was acting on behalf of the president,” according to the New York Times.
The testimony “portrayed a president determined to enlist Ukraine in publicly undermining his political rivals, including former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.”
According to Taylor himself, his idea that Giuliani wanted dirt from the Ukrainians came from the New York Times.
The Western Journal reports:
That part, for reasons unbeknownst to me, didn’t make it into The Times’ story.
The revelation came during a line of questioning from New York Republican Rep. Lee Zeldin, according to an excerpt of Taylor’s testimony Zeldin published in a Twitter post Wednesday.
Zeldin focused on interest in Burisma Holdings, the Ukraine energy company that paid Biden’s son, Hunter, $50,000 a month to serve on its board.
“Would you like to tell us what your position is on it?” Zeldin asked Taylor. “What was the goal of requesting investigations into 2016 election and Burisma?”
“As I understand it from one of the — maybe the article in The New York Times about Mr. Giuliani’s interest in Burisma, in that article, he describes, and I think he quotes Giuliani at some length, that article indicates that Giuliani was interested in getting some information on Vice President Biden that would be useful to Mr. Giuliani’s client,” Taylor replied.
“I think that’s what he says. He says he’s got one client, and he’s useful to the client.”
