Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- My top priority if elected is to promote universal health care. (see my note in the health care section) I also strongly support measures to improve educational opportunities for our young people; if they are better educated they can obtain better jobs and this improves economic development. It also encourages companies looking for a well educated work force to come to Maine. I also want to work to protect our environment and decrease factors affecting global warming.
