Patrick McDonald is a Republican member of the Idaho House of Representatives, representing District 15B. McDonald was first appointed to the chamber on January 14, 2014, by Gov. Butch Otter. McDonald is running for re-election in the primary on May 15, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

McDonald earned his B.S and M.S. from Idaho State University. His professional experience includes working for the Idaho State Police and as a United States Marshal.
