Paul Workman is a Republican member of the Texas House of Representatives, representing District 47. Workman was first elected to the chamber in 2010. Workman is running for re-election in 2018. The primary election took place on March 6, 2018. The general election is being held on November 6, 2018.

Workman earned a B.S. in building construction from Texas A&M University, which he received in 1973. He was also an adjutant with the Second Brigade from the Texas A&M Corps of Cadets. Workman is the secretary and founder of Workman Commercial Construction Services. He served as a captain, company commander, and engineer officer in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1973 to 1983.
