- Yes

6. Other or expanded principles
- b) I am not supportive of some aspects of the new law. In particular, the social clubs are a bad idea until such time as a quick, effective and legally defensible testing mechanism for THC blood level and a legislatively-approved standard for maximum blood level of THC are in place. c) The question is too vague. I think it is important to determine the maturity level of the accused minor. One of the purposes of differentiating between minors and adults is their ability to understand the significance of their actions. A strict age cutoff does not work in every case.

There are many P/T and F/T workers who regularly use drugs according to some voters I have talked to. How about spending much more effort on addressing the opioid crisis that is doing great harm in our state.

Legislative Priorities

In the following area, please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- Providing access to quality health care for all Mainers regardless of income or age. Medicaid expansion is a great first step in this direction. Working with a coalition of rural legislators from all parties to bring economic development to areas outside of urban Maine where it is now concentrated. I'm not sure about new funding sources but I expect as a legislator I will need to make choices among existing programs and new initiatives. I'm prepared to do that so that all Mainers regardless of where they live will get a fair shake.
