Robert Reives is a Democratic member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 54. Reives is running for re-election in the primary on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018.

He was first appointed to the chamber on January 29, 2014, to replace Deb McManus, who resigned on December 11, 2013, following her arrest on embezzlement charges. He currently serves as Freshman Caucus Co-Chair.
