Policy Positions

California Congressional Election 2018 Political Courage Test

Abortion

1. Do you generally support pro-choice or pro-life legislation?
- Pro-choice

2. Other or expanded principles
- Pro Choice, 1st term only, freedom of Choice.I believe that government should not enter the personal life or households of U.S. American citizens. Making an "abortion decision" is a hard, and very personal choice. The choice needs to remain personal, and the government should not interfere. The government should also, in no way, pay for any abortion, birth control, or sex change of any kind.

Budget

1. In order to balance the budget, do you support an income tax increase on any tax bracket?
- No

2. In order to balance the budget, do you support reducing defense spending?
- No

3. Other or expanded principles
- We need to investigate and prosecute individuals who commit Welfare fraud, and other benefits related fraud. An estimated 30% of the benefits budget can be reduced from simply removing the "self regulation" from states that frivolously and illegally give our federal dollars away. and have the U.S. Federal government re-qualify applicants. Also, if we expand on stopping the wasteful spending of governmental agencies, we can apply the savings to the national debt.We do not need to increase taxes, we need spend more wisely.

Campaign Finance

1. Do you support the regulation of indirect campaign contributions from corporations and unions?
- Yes

2. Other or expanded principles
- Indirect campaign contributions, assets given to political parties and/or candidates from corporations and unions.Yes, as long as the transaction was fully disclosed, and regulated.

Economy

1. Do you support federal spending as a means of promoting economic growth?
- Yes

2. Do you support lowering corporate taxes as a means of promoting economic growth?
- Yes

3. Other or expanded principles
- Lower corporate taxes are designed to keep corporate taxes in the United States and profits to be re-spent on corporate growth here in the United States.Prior to the Tax Overhaul, some corporations took profits out of the United States seeking tax shelter. Today, with lower corporate taxation, business are re-investing in our Unites States economy. Keeping American based corporations in the United States, puts Americans to work, and circulates American products and services. Tax dollars are generated every time the dollar exchanges hands, and the "trickle down" theory actually works.

Education

1. Do you support requiring states to adopt federal education standards?
- No

2. Other or expanded principles
- The federal government should not get involved with individual states standard of education.Education should be left to each state.

Energy & Environment

1. Do you support government funding for the development of renewable energy (e.g. solar, wind, thermal)?
- No

2. Do you support the federal regulation of greenhouse gas emissions?
- No

3. Other or expanded principles
- Supply and Demand will dictate the market for renewable energy. If investors can see the need for renewable energy, and the market demands the product, companies will open up and produce the products necessary to meet the supply and needs of the consumer. This is basic economics. Greenhouse gases: The earth goes through normal and natural changes, droughts and heavy rain, 100 year floods, cold and hot temperatures, is an ever-changing cycle that our earth goes through naturally. We can not control Mother Nature. No need for concern. The world is not going to end.

Guns

1. Do you generally support gun-control legislation?
- Yes

2. Other or expanded principles
- I support the EXISTING gun legislation. No more, no less.We do not need more laws, we need Enforcement of the Existing Laws.320 Million guns in America, 180 Million estimated owners. All law abiding citizens that own, maintain, store and use, in a legal and safe manner, guns.A few criminals and/or irresponsible individuals, are committing the crimes feeding the "gun control" issue. We need enforcement and prosecution to those individuals that are not legally using guns, or have them. Innocent U.S. Americans should not fall victim by additional gun regulations, due to the illegal act of a few.

Health Care

1. Do you support repealing the 2010 Affordable Care Act ("Obamacare")?
- Yes

2. Other or expanded principles
- Freedom of Choice is my belief. Repeal the Illegal 2010 Affordable Care Act.Healthcare is also a personal choice. Tax payers should not be forced to pay for the "supplemental" part of healthcare the insurance, and Tax Payers should also not be forced to pay the premium.Being forced to pay is wrong. Being forced to have a policy of health insurance is also wrong. It is a choice issue. A fundamental right of the U.S. Constitution dictates the freedom of choice.

Immigration

1. Do you support the construction of a wall along the Mexican border?
- Yes

2. Do you support requiring immigrants who are unlawfully present to return to their country of origin before they are eligible for citizenship?
- Yes

3. Other or expanded principles
- Syria recently used chemical weapons illegally on the opposition during a time of war. It is internationally illegal. The "Cartel" takes between five to ten thousand U.S. dollars to bring either one person, or up to ten pounds of dope across our open border. Picture a TERRORIST organization offering the "Cartel" one million to bring a Syrian scientist across the border, or to deliver ten pounds of chemical agents across the border. The making and using of Chemical Agents on American Soil. Many Americans will die.We need a controlled border. We need National Security, We need a proper wall.

Marijuana

1. Do you support the legalization of marijuana for recreational purposes?
- No

2. Other or expanded principles
- Marijuana is already the cause of a huge welfare burden to the tax payers of those states that have legalized marijuana.Marijuana lowers an individuals contribution of production to society, it slows down individuals reactions, and creates a mental blurriness that alters ones social and personal drive to move forward.California is now loaded with homeless individuals of mental illness and drug addiction. California is now "an unsustainable welfare and homeless" state. Tax Payers are feeling the burden of supporting those on marijuana. It is wrong, and I do not support it at all.

National Security

1. Should the United States use military force in order to prevent governments hostile to the U.S. from possessing a nuclear weapon?
- No

2. Do you support increased American intervention in Middle Eastern conflicts beyond air support?
- Yes

3. Other or expanded principles
- Sanctions, intelligence gathering and information sharing, supplying rebels, having voluntary military advisers assist in educating rebel forces, working with allies, NATO and surrounding countries. These are a few options that support a more controlled environment in securing diplomacy. Our President, Donald Trump, uses these tools associated with negotiations to achieve a diplomatically correct international solution to middle eastern and North Korean problems.I.S.I.S. has been reduced, North Korea is now at the bargaining table, and Syria is limiting its conflict to peaceful citizens within its nation. Afghanistan and Iraq can be sustained with these values as well.

Administrative Priorities

Please explain in a total of 100 words or less, your top two or three priorities if elected. If they require additional funding for implementation, please explain how you would obtain this funding.
- First: I will submit my "Finders Keepers" policy to legislation for approval into law.The "Finders Keepers Act": Administered by the GAO, is where a U.S. American citizens, logs into a GAO website, and "Whistle-Blows" on individuals who commit welfare fraud or abuse, or Agencies that wastefully abuse tax payer dollars. Once investigated and corrected, the "Whistle-Blower" receives a 10% reward for the first year annual savings associated with correcting the fraud or government waste.Welfare Fraud, Government Contractor Fraud and waste, SSI fraud and waste. These are some examples that we can correct and/or eliminate from our national debt.
