Shawn Lucas Fluharty is a Democratic member of the West Virginia House of Delegates, representing District 3. Fluharty is running for re-election in the primary on May 8, 2018. The general election will take place on November 6, 2018. He was first elected to the chamber in 2014.

Fluharty graduated in 2006 from the West Virginia University Perley Isaac Reed School of Journalism with a B.S. in Public Relations and a minor in political science. He earned his J.D. from West Virginia University's College of Law in 2009.
