Reform party candidate question

Jan. 1, 1900

There was a question as to whether or not O'Hara was a Reform Party candidate. Two separate organizations claimed to represent the Reform Party of Mississippi. The Mississippi Secretary of State ultimately decided to allow O'Hara to run for treasurer on the Reform ticket. The national Reform Party organization did not support O'Hara.
